1 耶稣在一个地方祷告。祷告完了，有个门徒对他说，求主教导我们祷告，像约翰教导他的门徒。
2 耶稣说，你们祷告的时候，要说，我们在天上的父，有古卷只作父阿愿人都尊你的名为圣。愿你的国降临。愿你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。有古卷无愿你的旨意云云
3 我们日用的饮食，天天赐给我们。
4 赦免我们的罪，因为我们也赦免凡亏欠我们的人。不叫我们遇见试探。救我们脱离凶恶。有古卷无末句
5 耶稣又说，你们中间谁有一个朋友，半夜到他那里去说，朋友，请借给我三个饼。
6 因为我有一个朋友行路，来到我这里，我没有什么给他摆上。
7 那人在里面回答说，不要搅扰我。门已经关闭，孩子们也同我在床上了。我不能起来给你。
8 我告诉你们，虽不因他是朋友起来给他，但因他情词迫切地直求，就必起来照他所需用的给他。
9 我又告诉你们，你们祈求就给你们。寻找就寻见。叩门就给你们开门。
10 因为凡祈求的就得着。寻找的就寻见。叩门的就给他开门。
11 你们中间作父亲的，谁有儿子求饼，反给他石头呢？求鱼，反拿蛇当鱼给他呢？
12 求鸡蛋，反给他蝎子呢？
13 你们虽然不好，尚且知道拿好东西给儿女。何况天父，岂不更将圣灵给求他的人吗？

Luke 11:1-13
1 One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."
2 He said to them, "When you pray, say:
" 'Father,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come.
3 Give us each day our daily bread.
4 Forgive us our sins,
for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.
And lead us not into temptation.' "
5 Then he said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and he goes to him at midnight and says, 'Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
6 because a friend of mine on a journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him.'
7 "Then the one inside answers, 'Don't bother me. The door is already locked, and my children are with me in bed. I can't get up and give you anything.'
8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend, yet because of the man's boldness he will get up and give him as much as he needs.
9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
11 "Which of you fathers, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
13 If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!"

163!!!!! YEA!!! 赞美主。

YAY!!! Think many of us were very anxious to know the number of people who attended service yesterday.. But I like this atmosphere!! Many people being concerned about Church attendance is a VERY GOOD sign that we're concerned about our evangelical work. Thank You for answering our prayers!!

OK! my feedback on yesterday's sermon!!
1. God has ABUNDENT GRACE for us! So, we can, like what Lingjia posted in Facebook, ask shamelessly to God in our prayers! I remember someone was talking about prayers in his/her sermon once (think is Mushi). He said that we don't have to fear about praying to God! He is mighty and powerful! We don't have to be stingy when we ask Him for things. Of course la, God will see what to say yes, no or wait la, but doesn't this all fit nicely??

2. God is WILLING, HAPPY, and EAGER to help us out in ALL aspects of our lives! And only when we rely on God fully, like a baby relies on his/her Father for food, water and all necessities will we be able to get help. (Luke 10:21 - At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, "I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.)

3. Sometimes, when we go through trials, go through times of trouble, and we lose what we thought we had, it is only then that we realise that God's grace is truly SUFFICIENT. One of the songs during worship touched me greatly that day: 当我感到没有能力，没有人我可寻觅。你的爱使我坚固，你的名给我归宿。耶和华全能主，必然成就，必然成就，这事。I know the feeling of looking for people for comfort, help and maybe just to cry my heart out, but yet, find no one. That was when I had no choice, but I turned to Him. So, I understood what Jingjuan meant in her testimony, when she said that she spent the whole morning crying in her room. We both realised that no one come help us, but we both managed to find comfort in God, in His Word.

4. Our status is only 蒙恩的罪人! So, we should behave like one! Someone who is generous to share the gospel, because we ourselves did not fulfill any criteria to be saved. Because 救恩白白赐下，我们白白领受，也要白白传扬！

5. When we do not rely on God, anything else we rely on becomes the 偶像in our lives! And it is so easy for us to have 偶像s in our lives, unless we always remind ourselves not to rely on anything or anyone, other than God Himself.

6. The verses for the day taught me a few things:
(a): We can ask God for anything, at anytime; even in the middle of the night! (v. 5)
(b): We have to ask constantly, because God delights in us talking to him! (v. 8) Remember 恒切祷告??!
(c): We have to ASK! (v. 9) If we don’t seek, how do we find? If we don’t knock, how can the door be opened for us?
(d): God always wants the best for us! (v. 13) So, when we pray, we need to TRUST that He will let us have the best that He has arranged.

很多时候，在服事上面对人，面对事，就连很简单很直接的事，都会可能变得复杂。。。。因为人的有限。。。
有时难免力不从心，沮丧或纳闷。。。
luna skye 写说：
“当我感到没有能力，没有人我可寻觅。你的爱使我坚固，你的名给我归宿。耶和华全能主，必然成就，必然成就，这事。”有时真是我的心情写照。。。
但行在恩典之路， 我实在/还是有积极的理由。。。因为神已成就这事，我要定睛仰望，既使如此，我还是有恩典，因为有父你的同在，一切都互相效力。

I give thanks we had such a loving God who is willing to lead us in this walk and protect us always, no matter what the situation is.
It also reminds me again to learn to trust in our faithful God to lead us in our lives rather than trying to be self sufficient in our own ways.
