March 12 - Foundation of gifts

歌林多前书12:29-31
岂 都 是 使 徒 麽 ？ 岂 都 是 先 知 麽 ？ 岂 都 是 教 师 麽 ？ 岂 都 是 行 异 能 的 麽 ？
岂 都 是 得 恩 赐 医 病 的 麽 ？ 岂 都 是 说 方 言 的 麽 ？ 岂 都 是 ? 方 言 的 麽 ？
你 们 要 切 切 的 求 那 更 大 的 恩 赐 。 我 现 今 把 最 妙 的 道 指 示 你 们 。

1 Corinthians 12:29-31
“Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? But eagerly desire the greater gifts.”

What is the foundation of all gifts in us..?

God made different people, and he organised different people to have different gifts. Whether big or small, on-stage or off-stage, as long as we use it according to our Faith for His glory, He will bless us. Our foundation must be on Him. When we shift our focus and start to think that our good results come from us alone, then He can choose to remove too. However, if we see a need and ask for it for the good of others, He can help and grant us what we want to fulfill that gap.

What is the foundation of all gifts in us..?

On Him of course! If it was on us, we would be flaunting it let alone using it to build the church. More imptly, I was reminded by the parable of the servants that if you do NOT use your gifts God has given you to build His church, He will one day take it AWAY!!

sorry people i kinda dont understand it but i will try my best please correct me if i am wrong=D

if God never passed gifts to us.We cant speak, we cant play worse of all we cant even think. teachers prophets arent the people that do healing and wonders. But what gave them the gifts to teach or what is the MAIN FOUNDATION of all these. Who could have done all these? ITS GOD!
without God we cant do anything
without his gifts to us we cant do anything correctly
without him there wont be any us.

So please people i hope more and more people will not think what they have now is cause what everyone will have a talent? no if God wants everyone can dont have anything gifts

我们的恩赐基础是建立在什么上？
林前13：1-3
在众多的恩赐中，爱是居首位的。缺乏了爱，所有其他的恩赐都变得毫无价值。
保罗也说最大的关注就是建立教会；只有爱才能建立教会。

圣经记着说：‘我赐给你们一条新命令，乃是叫你们彼此相爱，我怎样爱你们，你们也要怎样相爱’。
神赐给我们的恩赐不是只是用在教会，乃是用在我们的生命当中。

在教会：-
神的教会的爱是有原则的，这个原则就是“爱神所爱”，“爱神的真理而爱”，而不是“爱人所爱”。
教会是灌输神的真理、是主张神的生命、见证神的作为的地方，更是互相供应神的生命、
互相用神的真理补足各自短缺，共同进步的生命加油站。
我们需要彼此作光作盐，彼此真心负责，目的是为了使信徒的生命有所长进。

对非基督徒：-
神对人要求的彼此相爱是要在真理的基础上能给人带来生命上的帮助，，
而不是做老好人专说好听得来拉拢人心，那样的爱不是神所需要的爱，那是世俗上某些人的爱，我们不能效法。
我们只要效法耶稣基督，尽管有得罪人的时候，但是我们是真心在帮他认识自己悔改认罪，不是袒护人的罪。
圣灵引导和神的荣耀的能力伴随就可以做到真诚爱神爱人的诫命。

愿圣灵指教我们！加添我们的爱心，给我们柔软的心，怜悯人的心。
不然我们什么都做不出来。Amen

Some thing I found out from these verses...

We must eagerly seek the greater gifts, which is, from my point of view, the gift to love. But our very foundation of our gifts are also love.
It is something God created like a cycle, not contradicting at all, but the pro-found meaning of it cannot be fully understood.

Our foundation -> God -> Love -> Gifts -> Greater gifts -> Love -> God.

Confusing? I guess it is, but actually it is also very simply to understand, yet very hard to accomplish. That's why the verse says to "eagerly desire the greater gifts".
