:dream:

:gl:

Thanks Jinfa for sharing such a wonderful part. One of my favourite verse in the bible :" never will i leave you nor forsake you." This verse appears in Hebrews 13:5 as well. There are lots of times when i will be feeling down or even far from God, this is the promise that i claim from God and i will hold on tightly to it. What a wonderful promise that God has given to us.

Today is the last day of the year, as we looked back, there might be lots of ups and downs in the world as well as in our life, let us look back and be thankful that we are still alive and still can continue to work. As we looked back, seriously there are lots of things that we can be thankful for and remember to count our blessings. God always provide for us. :cute7:

Have you done your counting yet? If not as we looked back this 2008, count how much we have received from God and people around us and be thankful about it. :cute5:

Yes very grateful indeed this year, I've finally return to God and thanks to his blessing, that I'm still alive and kicking and still have the chances to go back to Him. And I'm FINALLY baptised and now the more I should remember that I'm his children and must shine like one.

If we live according to the clear light of God's word, God will dispel the darkness and others will be attracted to the Light.
C - Christ Jesus.
H - Humility and honesty.
A - Authenticity.
R - Relevance.
I - Intercession.
S - Sensible.

Along life’s journey, there is sunshine & rain, roses & thorns, laughter & pain. But I knew I would never walk alone as long as I have faith in Jesus. The verses remind me that GOD will never forsake me in any situation.
How precious is his promising. Give thanks to the Lord!

God goes before us and is with us

Although Moses isn't going into the promised land with the Israelites, GOD IS. Even thou Moses have to leave them but God is not.

We have a God who will not fail us - he will not fail to direct us and give us counsel, and give us the strength and help that we need. He will not forsake us, he will lead us to the end.

As we are entering into the new year. God can help us to live a fruitful year as he always ahead of us to guide us and he is with us to help us. I must fix my eyes on Him alone.

As i looked back my 2008, although there are many difficult moments through out the year, but the above verse is very true, God never leave me and forsake me, he is ahead of me to guide me and with me to give me strength.

1 of the lesson i learnt in year 2008: God has a purpose in every process, and there is God's grace in every process. i must be mindful of God's purpose for me when going through the process, . and if i m clear of God's purpose and trust in God's heart, i can face my life with confident and live up my life purposefully.

Let run the race ahead with confident knowing that God is with us and run it with the end in mind.

Application : to plan for year 2009

yup, God gives us lots of assurance from the bible that whatever we do we are not being forsaken. Serving in church is the same too. If you think that you are serving and no encouragements or you are doing it alone, just hang on. Cos God knows and He will encourage you personally and reward you personally too. So don't give up. Hang on! Holding onto God's promises is very important in our Christian life.

~Leaders need encouragements too. You know.............~ lol
