Mission Trip 2010 Part 1 (Ahka)

Dear all,

Created this thread to post updates on our bros n sisters situation and progress for this missionary trip. Those that are already there since Mon are:
Pastor Chua
Mushi Niang
Wei Ling
Wei wen
Zong Lin
Soo Ya

Vision Teh

Please keep them in your prayers! Below are some updates:
1) Weather there is hot and humid even in the night.
2) Thank God the haze is not as bad as it was reported in the news.
3) More imptly, I quote them "We are enjoying ourselves!"

Pray for:
1) Good weather and air quality
2) Healthy bodies
3) Fruitful time in preparation for the actual camp

Also heard from Weiling earlier on that Rev Wu's mother has fallen ill and is currently in a critical condition.

Let's keep her in our prayers as well.

Dear prayer warriors! Some updates for your daily prayers:
1) Pray for the camp itself which will be starting tomorrow! Pray that our bro n sis will adapt to last min changes, the children's hearts and more imptly the Holy Spirit's work.
2) Pray for health for our missionary team. Some are down with fever and lbx already!

Dear Bro and Sis,

Guess you have forgotten that Charis is going on Mission!
This trip is not Mission Impossible, but will be so if we do not keep it in God's hands...
So! Let's spare out some time and effort to pray and care for the Mission Team already in Thailand.
Last update from them: They were enjoying their lunch -.-" HAHA!
But they have been out the whole morning buying things.

Busy in days but focused spirit.
Rush in hours but calmed in mind.

Lord,
Walk infront of us, open our paths so we can forward.
Walk beside us, that we have your company in all that we do.
Last but not least: Work inside us, so as we work, we Shine.
May You build our work in Your Kingdom.

SawadeKa................Greeting from the mission trip team from Chiang Rai

We are preparing for the camp starting from tmr till thur, Pls pray for us. We need lots of prayers from Charis. As there is a district sports day for the people from the centre, we will have lots of the participates going to the event, as a result, there are some minor changes to the schedule and also we will have shorter time spend with them. Pray for all time available for us to go deep into their lives.
Currently all of us are well and good. No major sickness, but some minor ones like lbx, fever, back pain and insect bits. So continue to pray for us, cos the weather here is changing like hot to cold at night. Hope that the mission team will not fall sick.

That will be all. Reporting from Chiang Rai....

Unharmed from all the mess and riots outside in Thailand.
God has kept us focused.
To do all that's needed despite our empty pockets.

Glory be to God who has Himself accomplished all these works!
